A guide goes first on every abseil and stays at the bottom until the last guest is down. Groups are small. Nothing is mandatory — every jump can be walked around. If the water rises, we do not go in.

The canyon is inhabited. Small fish in the pools, freshwater crabs under the stones, lizards on the warm rock, butterflies through the light. Sometimes a frog. Sometimes a harmless snake crossing the water. We move around them, not through them.

Drenostica is a beginner-level canyon and you are on our rope for every descent. A guide goes first, sets the rope and waits at the bottom until the last person is down. Every jump is optional.
You need to be able to walk for twenty minutes uphill and be comfortable in water. That is the whole requirement.
The neoprene suit floats you, and pools are short. Being able to swim helps you enjoy it more, but it is not required.
Tell your guide at the start. The abseils are short and you are lowered on a rope you cannot fall off. Most people who dread the first one ask to do the last one twice.

€100 per person. Guides, equipment and photos included.
