What to bring canyoning
A swimsuit, a towel, dry clothes. Everything else is already waiting for you at the meeting point.
Bring
- A swimsuit — worn under the neoprene suit.
- A towel.
- Dry clothes for after, including a second pair of socks. Nobody regrets the socks.
Provided
- Neoprene suit — 5 mm full or shorty depending on the season.
- Neoprene socks.
- Canyoning shoes — Adidas Terrex or Five Ten, EU 30 to 48.
- Helmet, canyoning harness and all rope equipment.
- Taxes and insurance, photos and video, and one drink at the tavern afterwards.

Leave in the car
Phones, watches, sunglasses, jewellery and anything else that dislikes being submerged. There is nowhere dry on the route. Your guide photographs and films the whole descent, so there is genuinely nothing to gain by carrying a phone.
Contact lenses are fine. Glasses are risky — bring a retaining strap if you cannot go without them.
Eat something first
A normal breakfast, not a large one. Three hours of moving in cold water burns more than people expect, and the drink at the end is not lunch.
Quick answers
At your own risk and only in a proper waterproof case. Your guide already films the route and sends you everything.
No. Proper canyoning shoes are included — they grip wet limestone in a way trainers do not.
Put it on before you arrive if you burn easily. Most of the route is in shade.
